Vida's April 2026 Happenings 

April starts with my favorite full moon of the year on April Fool's Day no less!

For all the fun I had in March, nothing is going to compare to April. 

There's two basic themes this month: nature and sports.

You're shocked, I know LOL

But before I get to all that there's also a HUGE celebration!!!

April 5 is my fifth anniversary here in Las Vegas.

Man, when I look back at the me I was on April 4, 2021, I don't even recognize that girl!!!

In ALL the best ways though.

And when I reflect back on all the amazing things I've done, and seen, and eaten....Fabulous Las Vegas is an understatement.

So, with that in mind and with everything you know about me I'm about to say something that is so silly even I am laughing at myself....

I JUST figured out the university has a baseball team and the games are only $5!!!

MIND BLOWN!!! 

It literally never occurred to me to check. But, in my defense I do not enjoy watching college baseball.

But, to be in the ballpark for $5...I think I can "suffer" through it LOL

Speaking of sports, you know it's really not a Vida Happenings unless I'm telling you I'm following two or more leagues at once, right?

And April is no exception.

College basketball crowns a new champ on the 6th and the men's pro championships start on the 19th and the pro women are in preseason.

Then one of my favorite days of the whole year is Earth Day on the 20th.

If Mount Charleston has melted, I'll most likely go hiking up there. 

If not, I'll be at one of the parks or nature preserves soaking in the sun.

But because variety is the spice of life, I've also booked myself my very first watercolor painting class.

I am SO EXCITED!!!
